We operate with a wealth of design and industry experience. Our design team has over 30 years experience in the steel fabrication industry.

All of our senior design team have served their time as metal fabricators and engineers and this provides ADSL with a clear advantage over our competitors. We provide a range of services from 3D scanning to draughting & design of the steel work. ADSL can also offer full project management services.

ADSL has experience in managing projects ranging in value from €20,000 – €6,000,000. Our design team have vast experience in all aspects of structural steel and secondary steel works.

Our main drawing system in operation is Graitec 3D Advance Steel BIM software

The advanced object orientated functionality provides powerful tools to quickly create, review and edit all types of structural and secondary steelwork including both hot and cold rolled speed and accuracy.

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is the process of generating and managing building data during its life cycle. Typically it uses three-dimensional, real-time, dynamic building modelling software to increase productivity in building design and construction. The process produces the Building Information Model (also abbreviated BIM), which encompasses building geometry, spatial relationships, geographic information, quantities and properties of building components.

ADSL embraces BIM as a core best practice for ensuring the very highest return on investment for its clients over the entire lifetime of a project, continuing to pay dividends long after the last milestone in design and fabrication phases have been completed.

BIM offers several key benefits:

  1. Improved visualization
  2. Improved productivity due accuracy and easy retrieval of information
  3. Increased coordination of construction documents
  4. Embedding and linking of vital information such as suppliers for specific materials, location of details and quantities required for estimation and tendering
  5. Increased speed of delivery
  6. Reduced costs
